IRVINE, Calif. - Freshman goalkeeper Erica Quevedo (Northrdige/North Hills Prep) was named Co-Big West Player of the Week Monday.

Quevedo made 14 saves in UCI's 0-0 tie with Long Beach State Sunday to tie for the 5th most saves in a single game in Big West history.

This is the first career honor for Quevedo and is the third time UCI has had a player win the award this season.
