IRVINE, Calif. - The No. 60 UC Irvine women's tennis team (9-7) lost 5-2 to No. 43 Boise State Friday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

The Broncos won two of the three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point. Senior Inna Agababian and junior Heidi Kaloi defeated Laura Baum and Klaudia Wlodarczyk 8-4 in the No. 3 match for UCI's lone doubles win.

In singles, senior Becky Bernhard beat Pichittra Thongdach 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 match and freshman Brooke Bartlett beat Jana Mackova 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 5 match for UCI's two victories.

The Anteaters return to action Friday, March 28th as they host Boise State at 11:00 a.m. at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
