Finished 17thwith partner Olivia Waldowski at the 2008 World University Beach Volleyball Championships in Hamburg, Germany as a member of Team USA...partnered with Devon Sutherland to win the Big West Beach Tournament this summer...2007: Became the first Anteater to be named AVCA West Region Freshman of the Year...also named AVCA All-West Region honorable mention...Big West Freshman of the Year...All-Big West first team...Montana Invitational all-tournament selection...Big West Player of the Week...led the team in kills with 491 and service aces with 40...was second in digs with 349...posted the fourth-best mark in season kills and is the only freshman in UCI history to rank in the top 10...tied for 10th in service aces...fifth in the Big West in kills per game (4.20) and sixth in service aces per game (.34)...career-high 24 kills against Cal State Northridge....recorded 20 or more kills in eight matches...personal-high four aces against Gonzaga and 20 digs against Long Beach State...19 double-double matches...career-high seven total blocks against Davidson...season-high .455 average against Canisius College. EDISON HIGH SCHOOL: Named the 2007 Most Valuable Player of the Orange County All-Star Game...recorded the school record for most aces as a senior...also holds the top marks in career kills with 1,118 and digs with 1,048....also is the all-time leader with 232 service aces...totaled 85 blocks last season...tabbed MVP in 2006...2004 and 2005 All-CIF Southern Section first-team selection...member of the CIF championship team in 2004...tabbed Best Defensive Player in 2004 and the Best Offensive Player in 2005... All-CIF second team honors in 2003...two-time Sunset League champion...four-year varsity letterwinner in volleyball...also lettered in track and field as a freshman. CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played with Golden West volleyball club...voted the MVP of the Junior Olympic 15's in 2003.
