PORTLAND, Ore. --- Devon Sutherland (Corona/Santiago HS) earned all-tournament honors as she was the lone Anteater to be named to the Nike Portland Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Sutherland led UC Irvine with 56 digs in three matches as the Anteaters went 1-2 in tournament action, falling to No. 20 Kansas State and Arizona State while sweeping the host Pilots. The senior registered two matches with 20 or more digs, including putting together a 22-dig performance against Kansas State for a season-high.

Sutherland is currently averaging 4.33 digs per game and has 91 digs on the season. She is also third on the team with four service aces

The Anteaters, 3-3 overall, entertains Oregon this Wednesday (Sept. 10) in their home opener at 7:00 p.m. at Crawford Court.
