IRVINE, Calif. - No. 4 Hawaii defeated No. 11 UC Davis in the fifth place match Sunday at the UC Irvine Women's Water Polo Invitational at Anteater Aquatics Complex.

Hawaii built up a 5-2 lead heading into the final quarter of play. UC Davis outscored the Rainbow Wahine 3-1 in the final period, but it was not enough to overcome the three-goal deficit. Angela Turnbull led all scorers in the match with three goals for Hawaii.
