ANTEATERS HOST NO. 7 UC DAVIS, NO. 19 BROWN

ANTEATERS HOST NO. 7 UC DAVIS, NO. 19 BROWN: The No. 6 UC Irvine women's water polo team (13-6, 3-4) will host No. 7 UC Davis Tuesday in a non-conference match at 12:00 p.m. at Anteater Aquatics Complex. The team will then host No. 19 Brown Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in non-conference play at Anteater Aquatics Complex. ABOUT THE OPPONENTS: The No. 7 Aggies are 6-5 overall entering the week and face Long Beach State Monday. Christi Raycroft and Katherine O'Rourke lead UCD in scoring. The No. 19 Bears are 12-4 entering the week with a pair of matches Tuesday before facing UCI. Sarah Glick, Elizabeth Balassone and Lauren Presant lead Brown in scoring. UCI RANKED SIXTH IN NATION: The Anteaters are ranked sixth in the country in the National Collegiate Water Polo poll. The Anteaters have been ranked as high as No. 5 earlier this season, the highest ranking in school history. ANTEATER LEADERS: Jackie Prine leads the team with 30 goals on the year. Gianna Rossi and Robyn Kaake are tied for second on the team with 25 goals on the year. Julia Fancher is fourth with 21 goals. Keeper Lauren Machanis has 155 saves on the year. ANTEATERS IN THE RECORD BOOK: Senior Robyn Kaake is second on the UCI all-time scoring list with 192 goals. Junior Jessica Lewis is fourth all-time with 79 goals. Sophomore Gianna Rossi is fifth all-time with 77 goals. Senior Jackie Prine is seventh all-time with 65 goals. Junior keeper Lauren Machanis is second in `Eater history with 586 saves.
