Was a redshirt with the UCI cross country program in 2006....did compete in track and field in the spring of 2007....had a top time of 59.77 in the 400 meters as she finished third in her section at the Collegiate Classic at Anteater Stadium....her top 800 time was 2:18.83 as she placed third in her section at the Big West Challenge Cup in Santa Barbara....graduate of Edison High School, where she competed for coach Carrie Roldan (a former UCI runner)....majoring in biological sciences....parents are Parviz and Goli Alai.
