Was an 2007 NCAA-regional qualifier in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:07.00)....placed 17th at the West Regional....finished third (9:07.32) in the steeplechase at the '07 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships....was second in the event at the Collegiate Classic....finished 41st at the 2006 Big West Cross Country Championships with a time of 28:28.9 over 8,000 meters....was 16th at the '06 UCI Invitational and 30th at the Stanford Invitational....placed eighth in the 1,500 meters (3:54.91) at the 2006 Big West Track & Field Championships....had UCI's top time during the season of 3:53.77 in finishing second at the '06 Steve Scott Invitational ....finished 38th in the 2005 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:49 over 8,000 meters....was 32nd (23:46.1) at the '05 UCI Invitational.... ....finished 20th (25:05.7) at the 2004 Big West Cross Country Championships....was 26th at the '04 UCI Invitational....earned All-CIF, All-County and All-Marmonte League honors at Royal High School for coach Ryan Luce....also competed in prep soccer....majoring in civil engineering....was a Big West Scholar-Athlete in 2006 cross country....was named to the 2004 Big West Academic All-Conference team for fall sports....parents are Denise and Terry Hearst.
